Description

Shot inside the "Bucket of Blood" saloon, Virginia City, Nv.

This 1800's gambling table was named "Suicide Table" after a man had lost all his worldly goods & money and took his own life as a result.
Sadly...things haven't changed much!

What a great find this is! It makes me wish I could read those signs... wonderful capture, though! This is a place I hadn't heard about.

Watched a news show yesterday about Las Vegas... things HAVE changed (sadly), as the economic down-turn has affected even "Sin City" to a great degree. More foreclosures there, than anywhere! No work... not too many tourists coming, either... even though a lady won a giant jackpot just the other day ($33 MILLION!!!) Woo! Probably put that casino out of business! As for those who gamble then lose... yes, despair can be the "prize." Yet, we do it anyway... now and then! (Some of us. LOL!) But for me, the money has to be "expendable. If there's such a creature anymore!!

Great find and presentation Pat ~ sad to think the man did not think his life was worth more than all the material goods he'd accumulated though isn't it? Congrats too on your multi-finalists which I'll try to get to soon! #7437506
