Roosting

Uploaded: April 18, 2009

Description

This barnyard Rooster was so interesting. His colors are strikingly bold. I followed him around for a bit, and he finally wriggled his way into a little crook behind a tree stump and I inched my way as close as I could get to him. He seemed to sense that I would not hurt him and I was able to get this shot!
My intention with this photo was to show an animal in his natural environment and behavior.

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/45 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 200, FocalLength: 55.00 mm, Model: NIKON D80
