A lovely capture and composition, Christie. The beauty of this shot is that it also works as a horizontal comp as well.

Take a look at it with the top cropped down to just above the stamen at the point where the diagonal white meets the left edge. Not a better crop, just a different view of a great image. #7417327

super christie. I love the dark blue background - it is unusual. really nice dof. I particularly like the curl to the bottom right petal. is it possible to open a bit space at the bottom so the petal isn't cut off - it has nice lines. #7417976
