Crewman in the Rigging

Uploaded: April 09, 2005

Description

Taken in Sitka, Alaska as crews were securing their fishing boats for the night after a day at sea.

I metered off the sky to assure the color of the sunset would be maintained in the photo - no filters were used. "Auto level" and "auto contrast" were the only Photoshop manipulations used. f/13, 1/125 sec, ISO 400, zoom lens at 330mm, tripod used. ("Rule of thirds" was followed for placement of the peson as the subject of the picture).
