Uploaded: April 08, 2005

Description

A pair of macaws resting at the Nashville Zoo, on April 3, 2005. Except for sharpening, no other enhancements were made. The dreamy effect is a natural trick of the light and lens. Mid-afternoon; Canon 28-90mm zoom lens; speed 1/125; f/S 5.6; ISO 400.

Great shot, James! I was so excited to see your photo. I'm wanting to go to the Nashville Zoo this summer, especially to photograph these birds; they are such magnificent creatures. Your gorgeous shot makes me want to go even more... #234074

Sherry, thanks for the compliment. I was thrilled to see them, too. I had never seen their like before. The photo doesn't really show their true color (there was more purple amongst the blue), but what you see is what the camera captured. Thanks again, Jay #1238981

Mary, thanks so much. Unfortunately, it is TOO easy to miss photos since hundreds of them are posted everyday. It is impossible to catch them all. Thanks again, and Happy Shooting! Jay
