He's still very clean, Steve. We need a shot of him after a long day of digging. Cool shot! Everyday things are very important in this world. #1236906

Hey guys, I love your comments today! Tammy, not sure if funny is exactly right, but definately light hearted. On second thought, it IS funny, because this is a friend of mine, and can you image me, the aging long haired hippie hanging out with backhoe opperators. Actually, these are the kinds of people I'm around every day, and I wouldn't have it any other way, but needless to say they don't always understand my photos :-) Lawrence and Judy, thanks for the kind words, Mata, nothing in Sicily appears ordinary to me:-) and Marsha, it didn't take you long to figure out that this was an early morning shot. I'm sure he was black by the end of the day. #1236949

Thanks Debby, Wendy and Carla. Glad you stopped by today:-)
Kathryn and Norm, Here's the deal; only the top is cropped on this image. After I shot it I realized that I wasn't really paying attention to the framing so I shot again to get all the way to the ground, but my friend had moved so I liked his pose better in this shot. Besides, I figured all the ladies would be more interested in a cute butt than a backhoe :-) #1237351

I like the 'ground level' view..the small mound of dirt in the bottom left next to the hoe thing...Your friend adds the perfect touch to this image of power & steel! #1249604
