I was purusing some of my fave sunsets via picasa2 ... and started laughing. This pic captured the rhythm of my bridge in light.See how the second car on the left (and the others in general) has squiggles in the line of light? That is not hand tremor ...
That is the sound of the car going over the supports ...

Wanna see what it came out of? ... oh well do or don't ... here it is ;)

kerchunka kerchunka kerchunka kerchunka....hehehe...I can hear you down here...hehehe.About the picture, is it 0.9 seconds or 9 seconds?
I'm not sure the shore in the bottom of the frame is necessary.
I'll try the crop myself...give me a minute.
mmmmmhh...no...it didn't work. Maybe a Silhouette in the foreground. A tree perhaps. Don't know. I'll tell you tomorrow.
Have a good night.

geat shot ! #1231197Pam M April 05, 2005
Hey Guys, Thanks! When I started this rescue, I really didn't have too much hope of making it so clear. I just wanted to show off the kerchunka!
Protacio, don't fret over this one ... I've got two other shots from the same night that I can't wait to show off ... maybe tomorrow.
and yeah Picaso didn't lie about the shutter time ... I dbl ck'd ... and the shutter time is longer and longer ... but since this is a winter shot ... it took 11 min to go from just under 1 sec to 16 sec. and five min before this shot the time was 1/60
The sun tho is soooo intense especially mixed with so much water ... that i'm forever shooting faster that what the auto setting suggests ... usually two settings faster.
oh and yeah the crop ... can't get rid of the shoreline unless I crop really close to the bridge or opposite shore ... been there tried that ...
seems that with the water the brain demands some sort of anchor even if it's just a corner.
and the tree situation right in front of my RV is uhhh sparse! ... that little tree in the original is all I can ever put in a pic from that particular angle unless I also include the ugly telephone type pole that holds up a huge light. yeah ... we've considered making a move ... but it's work and so far we've not found a better park! It's amazing how fast an RV can anchor it's self down to a spot ;)
See you guys (& gals) tomorrow!
