Description

All images were done in-camera with the Nikon D300, 105mm lens, tripod, natural light.
The series from top left in a CW direction. 1) Basic tulip family portrait. The next 3 are all long exposures (2-4 seconds) done while panning the camera vertically. 2) stop pan for roughly 1/3 of total exposure at each end and move camera between end points for remaining 1/3 to get two "frozen ends" connected with a blur. 3) Freeze the top position by holding here for about 1 second and panning for the remaining 2 seconds. 4) This is a double exposure - one image is done similar to #3 and the second is the 3 tulips totally out of focus to make a soft red blur around the flowers.
