This bridge is miles long and provides a large portion of the rhythm in my life ... as the tires on the cars, trucks, boats (on trailers), amubulances, gravel haulers, beer trucks ... rise and set over each and every support.

Ker-chunk-a-Ker-chunk-a-Ker-chunk-a ... often louder than the lake!

This was my first attempt to capture the setting moon at sunrise ... and we were suppose to be leaving for work. Well, of course, the auto-setting wanted to wash the moon away.

I was able to adjust the time exposure enough to at least snag the moon but between zooming in (not digital) and no tri-pod it's a fairly low-quality pic. To give you an idea how much zoom ... that section of the bridge is at least two miles from me.

So ... for my next attempt (other than the obvious tri-pod) what can I do to improve the odds? the HP945 only gives me control over the time OR apature ... I cannot control both. Sometimes ... I can control one and trick the other.

I love getting a second chance at trying for a decent photo! The layers are accented edges @91%(accenting with light color), angled strokes @32%(hard light mode), and color pencil @16% (overlay mode).

Have fun!

LOL Hey Brian, uhhh Thanks ... I am so sorry! forgot to respond earlier.

I was surprised to find someone else shooting so close to my home, too!

Are you (or is anyone else here) going to attend the Main St. Ft. Worth Art Festival this week? I've never been but I am bound and determined to get there ... I want to see other photographers' work. Work like this!

I especially want to see
Bill Coleman' Amish Country (booth 726 which I'm told will be near Main and 7th),
Beverly Hayden because she has a unique way of forcing ... uh I mean cohercing ... people to look at what she sees (booth 802), and
Raquel Edwards as she is from Oregon and has an incredible photo of a place I visited.

I've not gotten to research any of the others.

Have fun!
