TOMfoolery
Uploaded: February 26, 2009
Our most recent rescue, Tom. We took him in a few weeks ago & while he seemed to be recovering for a while the last few days have been touch & go :( We had been talking with the vet & it was looking like we might need to put him to sleep. Today things are looking up a little though. He has more energy, & the infection on his paw seems to have stopped draining for the moment! Hoping for the best :)
Taken the other afternoon with natural window light.
Smiles on this rainy dreary Thur :))))

Wonderful full frame portrait of Tom taken with selective focus, vivid color and great lighting!! Jennifer I have been through seeing the vet on a regular basis for a sick cat. Tom is so lucky he found you. #7217427Jennifer L. Taranto February 26, 2009

Oh how cute!! Great capture, Jennifer.Don't give up on him yet. One of my older cats had so many health issues last year, it's a miracle he survived. I was told at least 3 times that even with treatments & surgery, I would likely lose him. Well, I didn't - he's still here!!!
I can't say his treatment was cheap - I was fortunate to be able to afford it. #7217534

Oh, poor baby - I'll keep him in my prayers. Beautiful full frame, wonderfulJennifer L. Taranto February 26, 2009
Thanks Sam & Pamela!! The original plan was to get him healthy & find him a home (I guess we're kind of like an unofficial shelter LOL), but considering the expense & the length of time it's going to take to get him healthy (if he gets healthy) we'll probably wind up keeping him here ... 5 cats, 1 dog, 2 fish, & 3 kids ... oh my LOL. #7217990John Connolly February 26, 2009
