This was taken at what they call the "Valentine's Day Massacre". A big festival put on by different motorcycle groups all over the state. One of them participates to raise funds for my sister's non-profit organization that uses horse therapy to improve the quality of life for autistic and disabled children. Most of the people look alot like this gentleman, but there are a lot of BIIIIIIIG compassionate hearts in that bunch of rough and tough teddy bears! And alot of people who are as rah-rah for Jesus as anyone (maybe more) that you'd see in most churches on Sunday morning. Like this fellow. I love that, and you know what? I think if Jesus walked the earth today, he would be deLIGHTED to hang out at the Valentine's Day Massacre with friends of his like this :)

Well done Sandy, yes if the cover made a difference most of us will be left outside the gate I am afraid. It is all about the inside. #7169293Nina Shields February 16, 2009
Sandy, I love this great capture of personality and like you, I've found that most of them have hearts of gold; our annual motorcycle benefit for Memphis is always a huge success and I'm truly grateful to my new biker friends for making it all possible. Wonderful capture! #7171096Melissa Olsen February 16, 2009
LOL Sandy...I see what you mean about the contrast POV of your little angel and this one. Perhaps you can find a flower making the transition a little easier...LOLRajeev 270293 Kashyap February 17, 2009

Excellent portrait, Sandy...and Jesus embraced all people...sadly, I'm sure many "church" people would gasp if he walked into their church..says alot about what's in the hearts of some people. Thanks for sharing this story! #7221562Eugenio Diaz March 02, 2009
