Description

f/32.0 @ 1/45, focal length 135mm. Taken from a boat on Biscayne Bay. I loved the repeating patterns in these red buildings in the late afternoon.

Sandra, I love the repeating patterns too and the unusual red hue looks fantastic. This is my favourite style of photography and you have done an exceptional job of capturing this!
Well done.

Thanks for your nice comment, Donna. Biscayne Bay has lots of wonderful condo buildings, and I will post another one tomorrow ... (or whenever that is "Down Under"!)

this is quite beautiful. I need to ask this: why is the aperture f/32 but not f/5.6 or something like that? Is this about working with an SLR or does that f number have a functionality in this shot? i'm really curious about this. and congratulations for the nice shot. #1229451

Thanks Mehmet and Yaacov for your comments. Mehmet- there are three sets of buildings in this shot, and they are varying in distance. I wanted everything to be in good focus, so I shot it closed down. _sandy #1232000
