Itchin' for Spring

Sonya L. Hatfield-Hall January 25, 2009

Oh, Howard, simply beautiful. I love the little bird out of focus (is it an American Gold finch?)

The first thing that caught my eye was the split crown(?) of the cardinal.

Excellent image.

Cold, dreary, windy, and overcast yesterday, my birds are itching for Spring..
Can I get a witness? You can see the winds effect in the Cardinals split crown, as the bird scratches its backside.
