Mine Shack in B&W

Uploaded: January 13, 2009

Description

This was a storage shed in the town of Gold Hill, NC. I do not know if it was used for gold mining in the 1800's but I did feel complelled to photograph it. I plan to make another visit to get a tour and learn more about this quaint town. However on this particular drizzly morning, there was not a soul around (except for me). 1/40s @ f/3.5, 70 mm with Sigma 17 - 70mm f/2.8-4.5, ISO100, On tripod with release. I converted to B&W in photoshop.

Exif: F Number: 3.5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/40 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 70.00 mm, Model: NIKON D300
