This is an absolutely beautiful bloom, Jean...and the colour is SO delicate!! (Is it a poppy?) Great title for your image, and wonderful clarity, lighting, and composition, too! You have many other excellent images in your gallery as well - very well done, and keep up the great work! :-) #224489

Thank you very much, Carolyn. Yes, it is an iceland poppy. They are very popular here in the spring, I actually took this photo before work one morning in a planter in front of a mall. They are one of my favorite flowers-- so delicate, many wonderful colors, great texture. Thanks for taking time to look at my gallery. I checked yours out, too.
