painting the house

Uploaded: January 04, 2009

Description

I am making this spot one of my new 'favorites'. There are a number of ways to shoot this sculpture and each angle puts something different in his 'painting'. To the right of the house in this one is Whaleback Lighthouse. I think the lighthouse looked better in the 'picture' but I didn't frame it right so the position of the paintbrush looked weird. This one with the house looks better (to my eye anyway). There were a few lobster boats that passed by so it was fun trying to catch them in the picture as well. Looking at the sun, it looks like this is a PERFERCT spot for a sunrise.. DARN if I had only learned of this spot for THAT lesson :)
