Hi Kitty,
Thank you !! It was the best Christmas gift ever. He promised me a one karat Diamond on our ten yr anniversary, when we got married. Our Anniversary is in May, so it was a few months early, and I had NO IDEA !! He went to our Jeweler and chose the Diamond to the setting and had it especially made how I told him I wanted it.
It is a 1.09 KT Pear Shape, Brilliant cut, F in color and SSI1 in Clarity . It's almost as beautiful as he is. Naaa..not even close. He is Flawless and more Rare. * WINK *
I never in a million years would have thought we could afford a diamond like this. It is even engraved with I LOVE YOU and PS plus the number ... of course you cannot see that withought
50 Xs magnification, but it meant alot that he thought of everything.
My Wedding set ( Which I have a Picture of in my gallery is my most prized.) This one is right up there with it, but my .40 Kt Antique Cut engagement ring and Wedding Bands will always take the cake.
I am SO lucky ... he is a wonderful Man, husband and father. He has good taste in jewelry too..hehhehehe !
The pictures don't do it justice..I am going to try and get some better ones of it up soon. I have some ideas of how I want to shoot it..but he has to be home first, so check back in two weeks for those. He is working offshore still. He couldn't be home for Christmas or New Years this year unfortunately.
If you or anyone has any TIPS of how to shoot a Diamond that's clear as glass and colorless, so it doesn't pick up the Gold from the band..PLEASE let me know. I couldn't get one to come out as well as I would like.
Blessings to you and Thanks again for your compliments, Jenny N Bama #6948640

Beautiful Jennifer. White gold band would take care of the gold reflections. LOL Bill #7001656

Hey Bill,
Yeah, I know...but our original wedding bands and my engagement ring and anniversary band which are sautered together are all Platinim. I wanted to have yellow gold on this one, so I could wear it with all of my yellow gold jewelry and then my wedding set with all of my white gold and plat. jewelry. OH WELL...hell...the hubby picked it out and had it made...I wouldn't change a thing. I know that white gold prob would be ideal for a diamond as nice as this one...but I guess I'll have to show it off in person..LOL !! * WINK *
Blessings, jenny #7001929
