Roosting With The Pteranodons In My World
Uploaded: March 04, 2005
I desaturated this photo using Adobe Ps then color tinted with history brush. I cloned the pteranodon and made two different layers with them. I played with the dimensions of the pteranodons in order to make them look different from one another and to make them look as though they were in flight. I liquified the sky.

I'm very surprised that there are no comments for this image because it is AWESOME!! It truly represents the world of a little boy...it's almost like being inside of the boy's imagination. I have a Dino-loving boy as well and so this image hits home for me. GREAT job! #223510Melissa L. Zavadil March 10, 2005
Thank you so much for your comment!! It is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES because my son actually posed like this (with his favorite stuffed animal he sleeps with every night). I clicked this picture from behind without him knowing. #1162093Kathryn (Love) Scheet March 10, 2005

I know I have commented on this photo before but I came across it again and just HAD to let you know how much I like it! I love all the effects that you used and the wonderful sentiment it portrays of a little boy! #1204602Olivia Navarro March 24, 2005
Wow, this is just awesome!!!! Fantastic photoshop work. As the mother of two boys, I agree with Susana--this picture takes you right into the mind of a little boy. Great job, Melissa. #1204607Melissa L. Zavadil March 25, 2005
