Thanks Guys, A little word on this photo. I've been going to those falls many times over the years and even tough I did get many that were good. It seemed the conditions were never perfect. That is until that day. Just the right amount of water coming over and just the right amount of ice. The lighting was uniform and the picture finally became a 'Keeper'..Stephen. #1148333

Beautiful shot, Stephen!!!! I am trying to figure out correct shutter speeds and this shot was sent to me by Roger as a great example!!! He was right - this is absolutely gorgeous!!! #1149462Stephen F. Methot March 05, 2005
Hi Tammy, As you have noticed, it was shot at 1/15 of a sec. Plenty slow enough to give that effect to the water. It was quite cloudy and being in the woods like that helped also. If it had been a sunny day, I would have had to use a neutral density and/or a polarizer to cut down on the amount of light. I have been shooting these falls for a few years now, but never were the conditions so good as they were that day. Moral? Don't be shy about revisiting places you have already shot. There's always room for improvement.Dolores Neilson July 15, 2005
I like this alot, STephen!! You have just enough silky water and you framed this beautifully. Well done! #1595276Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
