Joseph's comment on my image yesterday prompted me to post this.
Malahide Castle is about 2 miles from where I live just outside Dublin. It was a private home to the Talbot family for almost 800 years. Since 1976 it is owned by the state. It is set in 250 acres of land. A lovely place for a relaxing stroll, The grounds and castle craft shop and restraunt are free to the public, there is a charge to take a tour of the castle.
