I love this. What a wonderful freckled face. It's great to see someone dare to have a bit of artsy composition that isn't usually seen. IT works for me. Curious - why did you need the +2? Because of the white wall? #219645

Thanks Denise for your kind comment.

To answer your question, firstly yes it was because of the white wall (actually a door) that was in the background. Secondly I new that I wanted a high key effect so adding the +2.0 exposure compensation helped me achieve this, I had little left to do with the image except convert to B&W in PS and adjust the levels ever so slightly.
