Gordon, your gallery has a wonderful collection of winter scenes, but I was struck in particular by this BEAUTIFULLY lit and well-detailed macro...
The leaf's shape almost looks like a face peeping out to ask, "Where the heck is Spring?"

Great interpretation, Mary! And Thanks. I like the way the sun is so bright and penetrating that the "cave" is glowing blue. I have such an appreciation for these tough survivors. There'll be about a week in May when the lake and pond shores will be white with the bell-shaped flowers that these normally non-descript plants just burst out with.
