Hi Brent,

I was just viewing this image in the Team BetterPhoto Blog and had to comment. Great shot - I love the effect.

What was your technique? Do you have any tips to share with the rest of us? #274482

I was excited to have this shot turn out. The settings were shutter priority 5 seconds apature 4.5 shot with the Tamron 28-200 zoom at 55mm. Exposure compensation -1, no flash shot on a tripod . We ran out of sparklers before I thought of drawing shapes like hearts and or trying to write out a name. Have fun, just make sure it is really dark!-Brent #1577366

Nice Shot Brent. I love the way you captured the moon right over the Sears Tower. In General it is a winner!

Sorry, Brent, your Beach Sparklers is intriguing! I like the way you captured the water and with it the sparklers!

Joe, your shot of Chi-Skyline is great!
