Allan...I just love the atmospheric elements and composition in this image!! The rock leading into the foggy sky and gradually losing detail creates a bit of mystery that I find very appealing. Excellent idea choosing a vertical format to capture this! Congrats on having made finalist! #1542178

You commented on my horse rider picture and I came to look at your gallery. Very nice. I assume you live in or around Colorado Springs. I grew up in Montrose. I love that part of the country and your pictures really make me homesick. Of all your wonderful pictures I believe this one is my favorite. Wonderful job on all the elements in this photo.
