Great comp and colors are wonderful. The only suggestion I might make is clone or use the scratch remover tool to edit out the telephone wire accross the building to trees, it take away from the old feeling of this great find.:) #1016545Matthew M. Sciortino October 15, 2008
Thanks Sue. I've tried on other images to take out wires but I found that I have no patience for it! LOL. The wire is definitely annoying though. #6602537Aggie Villanueva October 15, 2008
I does take a lot of patience. And with the wood slats on the building it would be difficult. It's still an utterly appealing capture of a beautiful spot. #6603511Matthew M. Sciortino October 15, 2008
Thanks Aggie. I'm looking foward to shooting the winter version. #6603678Irene Colling October 15, 2008
Very photogenic location, skillfully captured by you. #6604868Sue C. Cole October 15, 2008
Yes, I know that taking out wires are for someone with amazing patience but sometimes it's well worth it. But like I said it's still a great find.:) #6605613Matthew M. Sciortino October 15, 2008
Thanks Irene.Sue, i'll attempt it again when (if) I ever get a stylus tablet, that should make it easier. #6605663

Matthew, I finally got a stylus tablet and I'm not sure I have the patience to learn it. I'v had it for a while know and only took it out of the box. You may learn yours before I do. lol. #6605761Jean Lechleiter October 17, 2008
Beautiful colours and lighting here, Matthew #6616799Matthew M. Sciortino October 18, 2008
Thanks Jean... Its one of my favorite places to shoot. #6620327Bonnie C. Lackey October 18, 2008
I love this image, Matthew. If you magnify the area where cloning is needed, you can work with a very small brush and just a few pixels. Makes it a lot easier. #6620386Matthew M. Sciortino November 03, 2008
Thanks Bonnie, I just have to find the time and patience to sit down and do it. #6701666Laura E. Swan November 24, 2008
This is terrific, Matthew!Wouldn't that be FUN to go on a tour of MILLS and COVERED BRIDGES??? A photographers DREAM. This certainly gives us a glimpse of it all!
Love the overgrown foliage around the base of the water wheel, too! Cool! -Laura #6799370
