I'm fairly new to the site so I'm not entirely clear on what types of critique are appropriate, but this picture grabs me. I find myself drawn to the eye, which looks somewhat angry. I think it would be softer if the eye were looking down, more in line with the shadows. Otherwise I love the shot.

Hi Alison,

Thanks for the feedback. I feel that your critique is an appropriate one. It's interesting to me that you see anger in the eye. I never thought about it until I read your feedback. Glad you love the shot.

I really like this, Alison. Amazing vision and capture. This is the kind of photograph that is intriguing, that stirs the imagination. And I love the neutral tones with the wonderful lighting and shadows. In fact, so many of your images involve play between light and shadow. Wonderful! #1574569
