Great choice for B&W. It has drama and appeal. The only thing I can think of to suggest would be more contrast between the light and the dark portions. Keep up the great work. #1010972Sue C. Cole October 12, 2008
Matthew, great choice for B&W. Reminds me of an old west movie scene. I agree with Aggie on the contrast. But great work:) #6587917Matthew M. Sciortino October 12, 2008
Thank you Aggie & Sue. I agree with both of you on the contrast, but i'm not sure how to do it... I don't know how to keep the things I like the way I like them and change the things I don't like... i'm not that good with photoshop yet. #6588197Sue C. Cole October 12, 2008
Matthew, I'm not sure about PS but with corel you can use a seletive tool and highlight the areas you want to brighten. Or maybe try the burn or lighten tool with very low ocpacity and hardness that may be a start. Good luck this image is well worth the try.:) #6589614Matthew M. Sciortino October 13, 2008
Thanks sue, I'll play around with it a bit. #6593109Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
