To Norman Rockwell's fans.

"Commonplaces never become tiresome. It is we who become tired when we cease to be curious and appreciative."
—Norman Rockwell

Enjoy.

This picture speaks volumes, Protacio!
Good stuff.
Any story how it was done, etc? #1072063

You've been spending quite a time in the saloons!!! I love commonplace photographs...they're so interesting.....
Very interesting candid, Protacio!! #1072115

Love this--of course you know I love Rockwell. Great representation of his work. Love the familiarity in the different cultures. A real "bond" Protacio. Great job!

Hi there…sorry I’m late but I was setting up the picture of the week in my website.

Thanks Karma. Your previous message took me to a cyber-exploration through Rockwell’s work so my eyes were trained and help me find this photo-opportunity.

Thanks Arya for your message. I have been suggested long time ago about making a series on barbershops. Now that I have two pictures I might consider doing some research about the theme.

Of course there is a story Piotr, I walked by, saw the print, stepped in and ask for permission. The barber knows me and some of my work so he kindly accepted. I don’t know what Rockwell’s quartet was singing, but yesterday I bought a CD with the opera “Il Barbiere de Siviglia”. You can find a sample at my website…enjoy.

Ah, bravo Figaro! Bravo, bravissimo
hehehe...sorry...I just had to do it.
