Wonderfully lovely and beautiful Dolores, well done as usual. I like it very much, the contrast ... the colors .... PERFECT!
Hey Dolores, I'm back with my picture friends, the struggle at work is over for now, only 40 hours a week now, WITH weekends off, WOOOHOOO, my G3 should be here in middle of next week, can't wait! Had some beautiful sunrises over here the last few mornings.
Klara and I wish you good luck with this one. #19302

Hey D! WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! This is so unbelievably perfect!!! Wow, you are soooo good! Now tell me, did you use the thread trick on this one??? LOL :) Good luck with this one! #43537

Hi Peder!! So glad to have you back! I hope more hours meant that you were at least building up your bank account...if you're on salary, that's not a good deal!

Peder...you will love the flip LCD on the G3....I want a dslr but no flip LCD! The flippable LCD spares me from having to lay down on the ground to see what's on my display. I don't know how slr owners without LCD displays get their "low" shots.
Thank you for your complimentary post on this image...you know, I appreciate them immensely! Happy day!

Hi T!! Thank you for your enthusiasism!! No thread trick...on this one. I only use that trick when I need help seeing details...when details aren't visible on my display due to low light. I appreciate your post very much! Have a super weekend!

Hi Carol! Many heartfelt thanks for taking time to comment!! I decided to shoot my neighbor's Hibiscus' one day last summer...except the petals were all heavy laden and droopy after a rain.
"When life gives you lemons,...."

Hi Carolyn!! Good morning! Thank you for your comment on my pic!! Much obliged for your time, dear one! STay warm! Sounds like there's a cold snap all over the country.

Hi Judith!! I'm so delighted you like the image! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. And you are equally good, girlfriend!! Many thanks!!

Mark Oxley May 26, 2019

Wonderful Dolores!! What great colour, detail and excellent use of composition. The water droplets are a very nice touch and really make the shot come to life. I expect to see this amoungst the finalists this month. #43682

Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019

HI Jill!! Thank you so much!! It delights me that you like it. I've had people tell me they first think it's a strawberry when viewing the thumbnail...which I have to agree!

Thank you, Mark!! I value your comments very much. Sometimes I spray my flowers to give them a "fresh" feel. But in this particular case, I was disappointed when I saw them droopy and heavy laden with raindrops... but decided that throwing my first vision out the window and going with what I had to work with was the way to go. Many thanks and I expect to see your beautiful owl in the finalist's corner too! #43708

Carol Sherman May 26, 2019

Yea Gads, this is wonderful! What a perfect shot of it, color and comp...glorious! Lol in the thumbnail it does look like a strawberry. #43772

Hi Dolores,

I'M sure you are busy, you have to many great images out on the site, and to many pepole to respond to. Keep up the excellent work. #44234

Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019

That's kind of you to say, Ray! I knew I was behind on responding but I spent a couple days working on an image I had been wanting to do for a month now...today, there was no excuse for procrastinating. Besides, I can't tell you how many ideas I've wanted to do and then I see someone else submit first with a very similar idea! #44255

Thank you dahhhhling!
I'm glad to hear from you!! I tried to email you but my emails kept getting returned. Thought maybe you were having problems with your email program but Angie said you were just taking a break. I still have the email but will wait since I know you probably still need the break!

I appreciate very much that you took time out of your busy weekend to comment, Shelley! I know you are on dial up like I am so the fact that you have allotted some of that weekend time for me is a generous gift! Many thanks for being so sweet! Happy shooting! (Been loving your stuff!) #46131

Shelley Sanders May 26, 2019

No problem, I have been taking some late night hours to catch up on the photos here. I am still way behind. This is to take a break from all the catch up on my own photos, editing, printing, organizing. About the email, go ahead and post it to one of my shots in my gallery and I can read it there. : ) #46171
