Become One With Nature [Contest Pre Finalists May 2019]

Captured on March 27, 2008 at Tamarack Beach in Carlsbad, California. The surf was up and this little girl was staring out at sea. I loved her stance and had one chance to get this photograph before she ran off.
I originally created this image in PS with colors, gradient and pattern texture layers. Today~ I enhanced the contrast, removed distractions (clone, heal and brush tools), straightened and used a tighter crop.
I want to thank everyone who has commented on all the different versions of this photograph. You are my inspiration!!!
