Hot pursuit!

Description

This big guy was in hot pursuit of a female and really could care less that I was there. He was just turning to go around me when I got this shot and then he followed her down a dark canyon. Had he headed up the ridge into that sunlight I would have had a incredible morning!

Add me too. What an incredible action shot. The colors in the background as well as the shadow border add even more to the photograph. #43301

I don't think you understand, Cory.....you HAD and incredible morning! How in the world can you get any better than this? This is the most awesome wild animal shot I can remember seeing!! The detail, the action, the perfect composition, the amazing back lighting...All perfect! If it doesn't win the judges are viewing in braile! #43565

Thanks so much for everyones comments! I was very excited to have this guy come in so close, totally oblivious to me in search of those doe's, however, the light just barely above him was incredible. I agree in this shot it makes for a nice background, but not the shot I had envisioned. That wildlife photography though. If they were predictable they wouldnt be nearly as fun to be with.
