So this is snow...

Description

1st experience with snow. This is my 3 1/2 year old Goddaughter playing in the snow. Taken outside without a flash in Jan. 2005 in Texas.

What a cutie! Adorable photo!

I would suggest perhaps blurring the background with a photoshop program, as to make her more the focus of the photograph.

Also, perhaps a little edge smoothness for her face.

Hi Jill,

I realize from the get-go that this may come across harsh but it is not intended to be so. That being said, some of the best advice I have ever recieved was, "There is a difference between a snapshot and an artistic shot. If you intend to take a snapshot, great but if your intent is an artistic shot then what is the story?"

Your Goddaughter is adorable but I think that, with some more snow in the shot, you could "lead" the viewer a little more. Another suggestion would be to wait until she is looking at you and then crop in on a cute smile.
