The View from Pontone
Uploaded: September 15, 2008
Our Italian guide was determined that my husband and I experience “a non-tourist lunch.” So he took us far off the beaten track to the tiny medieval village of Pontone, perched high above the Amalfi Coast. While the food was plentiful (There must have been at least a dozen courses!), it was nothing special. But the view was breathtaking – well worth the price of the tour all by itself! I particularly liked the terraces and umbrella pines.
