Description

This was taken in late March, 2004, in the Adirondacks, NY. After a series of sunny days, this young black spruce had absorbed the sunlight and melted a pocket for itself.

Thanks!! The "competition" is pretty stiff this month, as usual, so making the finals is a nice feeling. There are so many great photos posted on BetterPhoto every day...I wish I had time to see them all.
