Just wanted to tell you that I have to say goodbye to everyone at BP for some time. I am going to miss your magnificent images, but I hope to be back with you soon. Keep up the great work and take care!

The reason why I have to leave is quite pathetic. I simply have been banned from BP for repeatedly posting offensive and nasty comments on other people's work...

I think Robert was joking. In a personal email to him, he said that he was simply getting busy with a big project at work.
