Description

Venice Beach, California. Playing the flute on top of the building is one of my favorite "characters," the mythical Southwestern figure Kokopelli. He brings good luck, good health and good fortune.

Nice work Patsy--I mean Pat :0) I really like this photo--good color, exposure and composition. I really appreciate your attention to the nice straight vertical lines. I hope Kokopelli brings you good luck on this one.

Ohmygosh! I thought my dad was commenting on my photo. LOL. He always calls me Patsy. :-) Glad you liked this, Murry. My husband, who is a newspaper page designer among other things, thought this was too busy, but I respectfully disagreed. :-) Hey, Murry, it's snowing here in the Dallas area today! (but it's not cold enough to stick). #41248

I agree with what Murry said, Patricia! Great shot!

Wow, snow in Dallas--just rainy and cold in Houston. I usually prefer simple compositions also but I really think this busy photo works very well. Maybe you've mastered controlled chaos (LOL).

Cathy, thank you so much. Murry, yes, it's amazing to see this snow, it's been snowing for a couple of hours now. But it's 36 degrees, so it's not sticking around when it falls. I guess I didn't care how busy this photo may appear, because it had my beloved Kokopelli in it! #41311
