Uploaded: August 29, 2008

Description

I have been falling back on some older images until I get the chance to get back out there again. This was taken June 6th 2006 at the Beckley, WV Coal mine. A prime example of what your typical coal camp kitchen table would look like. F3.5/30 only window light was used.

Exif: F Number: 3.5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 10/300 seconds, Flash: did not fire., White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 18.00 mm, Model: NIKON D70s

Love this,
I have also been there, it's taking a walk into the past, I am from several generations of coal miners and still have 2 nephews in the mines not far from Beckley...thank you for submitting this photo, and for sharing it with others...one does not appreciate the way that the miners had to live and some that still do. #988908
