Moonrise

Description

This is a re-entry of the first image I put up on BP. It never managed to get a placing so as the Olympic games are just over I thought it deserved a re-appearance and China is rather topical at the moment. (T&P)

A really terrific photo! Never have seen one of the Great Wall at night before. Was it difficult to get? #6362611

Thanks Mike, Cindy, Tommy and Jean for your comments. Jean it was very easy to get this shot. It was taken on the wall between Jinshanling and Simatai. It's a 10km walk between the 2 towns and in many places the wall is disintegrating but it is also slowly being restored. #6363194
