Wonderful shot! Is this a b&w hand print? #18439

Thanks very much, Clifton

Yes ! It is a real B&W photo and it was scanned directly from the negative (Delta 100 / Ilford). It was taken with a Pentax 67. #40585

Was it scanned with a dedicated medium format film scanner or a flatbed scanner? I recently got a Mamiya RB67 only to find no photolabs have a large film scanner where I live. I'm wondering if a flatbed scanner is an option. #40776

A really great shot! The contrast between the building and the sky gives the photo a new dimension. If you don't mind me asking - how did you achieve this ?

Hi Mike H.

Thanks for your nice comment. This photo was taken with a 55 mm (in a 6x7 it is near a 28 mm in 35 mm) using an Ilford Delta film. The dark sky was the result of the red filter I used too. Nothing more !
Cheers #41139
