Way Down Deep

Uploaded: August 22, 2008

Description

The entrance to the Japanese Underground Naval Headquarters in Okinawa, Japan. It is a complex system of tunnels and caves, deep in the bowels of the earth. A grim reminder of the horrors of war, it is now a museum and major tourist attraction. Shot 11:43AM 5AUG2008 f/4.5 1/2sec. ISO 100 Pentax 18-250mm Lens@39mm.
