Well, in my opinion, one can't go wrong with purple (love it!), but you add so much from that starting point, Stan. The lighting and composition, the contrast with the background black... all wonderful!
Plus you also throw in a couple of simple little things, such as a shutter release cable and a tripod!
(My two - cable, tripod - play cards to pass the time till I get around to using them! LOL!)
