crows nest

Uploaded: August 17, 2008

Description

The March full moon, known to Northern Indian tribes as the "Crow Moon" seems nestled in barren branches of late Winter. Thin cloud bands form a wispy frame for the colorful scene.

John, Great shot here. Love the clarity, detail, mood and title. Is it a composite of two photos or did you wait for the right time to capture the 'nest'? #984018

Thanks Usman. It is a composite of two shots, taken a couple of minutes apart. (By the time the moon was visible like this, it had moved above the branches a bit more than I wanted it to be, so I brought it back down.) #6344063
