Royal Gorge 3

Description

I was asked to post more of Royal Gorge, and I certainly have enough images to do that, LOL. I took this while standing on the incredible Royal Gorge Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in the world. Notice the river running along the bottom of the gorge, which is often filled with kayakers. Can you find the blue kayak in this image? Also notice the railroad running alongside the river. This will give a bit of perspective as to the vastness and depth of this incredible place.

Deb- Good morning my friend. Yes I do see the blue kayake. Its right where the river starts to widen. And I do see the tracks running along side of it. Glad I had my magnifying glass handy. Your so right about giving us an idea of how vast and deep the canyon is. Thrilling composition and depth. Lighting and clarity are outstanding. I also love the shadow play going on. The earth tones are always a favorite of mine, and I love the contrast between them and that gorgeous sky. Those mountains in the background are amazing in color to.
Such an awesome place and your work really did give us a breathless view.
Incredible work
Have a wonderful day, take care, enjoy #6286567

Looks like you had a lot of fun on this trip Deb. Love the POV and the gradeaur of the image.

The new format now offered by BP makes it hard to keep track of the newest entries by my favorites, such as yourself. When I check you gallery it's hard to remember what is new since I last visited since they no longer post upload dates.

But keep 'em coming and I'll keep a lookin' #6315552
