I think the vertical is a good choice for tall flowers like lupine. I didn't see your other post, but I do like this one. :) Ah, summer...

Cathy.....I commented on your image a couple hours ago, only to find it's not here?! Anyways, I wrote: I love the vibrant colors & dark background!I long for my gardening days coming :)! Thanks for the reminder!

When I received my "finalist" email this morning, itsaid the judges will pick the winning photos within the next couple days....meaning, Grand Prize, 1st, etc.....Finalists were told today. Hope that helps? #37615

Lorraine: That is so strange - I got your original comment, but it wasn't with my photo, kind of like it was in limbo, then I sent you a return comment saying just that, but it doesn't sound like you got that, either - too weird! I went out shooting this afternoon, and it was gorgeous out +6 (like spring)! There was no snow in the bush, so I was having a great time exploring. I had Skip along, too, and was sliding rocks gently onto the ice, then trying to get some interesting shots of him (there was standing water on top of the ice from all the rain we had last night). It was a great day! We're supposed to head into colder temps and snow tomorrow.

I had that happened to me as well...but awhile ago. Now I am receiving numerous emails of the same response...atleast 3 or 4 of the same response on a picture.....does this happen to you?

I just got home from bowling...my husband and I bowl every Saturday evening for my son's football league and I can home to 40 emails....yikes. It's because of duplicate responses.

Hi Lorraine! I have had that happen, too! Did you have fun bowling, and did you win? I used to be in a bowling league when I was a kid and had a great time, but I was really, really bad. I won a trophy once, only because my partner was really, really good! I would love to play again, just to see if I've improved at all. Skip is the family dog, and he lives with mom and dad, but I pick him up from time to time and take him exploring with me, which he loves!

Thank you Tracy! In summertime we have all kinds of flowers growing wild here, including these ones! You can't tell from this shot, but there's a steep embankment and valley between the flowers and trees with a creek that snakes through it - I often get to see moose there, though they usually kick up the water in their hurry to get back out of sight!

Hi Cathy!

My husband and I have been bowling on this league for the last 4 years. Last year we placed 1st out of 26 teams :) This year, we are struggeling. It's a fun night out for just "us"...all our other time is dedicated to our boys and sports! #38044

I have 2 boys....15 and 10....they participate in sports 24/7...football, baseball,basketball,soccer,etc...my husband gets involved too....it's a good thing. (I just sounded like Martha Stewart) :) #38067
