Ford On The Bayou

Uploaded: July 22, 2008

Description

My truck is backed down the boat ramp where we can launch our boats if we want to go on the bayou by boat. I have a new series of shots from today. I took over 100. I had pulled up here to just take a couple of shot of my truck with the bayou in the back ground and almost instantly I spotted red Algae all over the bayou. I was so happy to see this. It is not every year we have the red algae. Now about this new truck. It may have saved or prolonged my life by many years. 4 Fridays back I took my wifes car in for an oil change. While waiting I walked the new truck lot and found this truck on sale for the price employees paid. I liked everything about this truck and told Daniele about it. That Sunday after Church I took her to the dealer and showed her this truck. She liked it. She said to me Bill do you really want this truck. Of course my face lit up and I said yes. Daniele said to me Stop smoking and it is your truck. Well I stopped smoking. That's It. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Kathy L. Clark July 24, 2008

Great Ford truck Bill. I'd say you are right proud of that baby. #6225786

Bill Knaps July 24, 2008

Thanks Kathy. You are right about that. Got a lot of get up and go with that 320 HP V8 and it is good on Gas. This one was just made last month so I think it has a higher geared Rear End than the earlier models. Got 21 MPG which is not bad for a truck and living in the country one always needs a truck. Bill #6225804

Melissa Olsen July 24, 2008

Bill...just how did I know that at some point your truck would make it in a bayou photo. LOL...can you hear me laughing? :-)

This is a precious capture Bill, and everytime you have the urge to smoke just take a look at this beauty to remind you it's all worth the trade. Bless Daniele for the ingenuity to get you to quit. I quit over 20 years ago after smoking for 14 years. The cravings will definitely go away over time. As we look at your Bayou shots, they will become more meaningful from now on. Take care Bill! #6229747
