This place is so beautiful! It's in the McGregor Mountains of BC, approximately a three hour drive from where I live (an hour and a half of gravel). It's a sub-rainforest, so there is a lot of moisture, and being at a high elevation, there is snow a lot of the time. I make trips there in late summer, when the blueberries are ripe. The bushes are filled with nice big berries. It's also so beautiful for exploring and camping. Last year I had a Silvertip Fox and a Porcupine walk into camp (at seperate times) and there are black bears and grizzlies that I have seen while driving there, but never while hiking (thankfully!). As you can see, this place is very dear to me - a definite favorite!

Sounds beautiful Cathy! If I ever travel to your neck of the woods....you will have to show me this place! Sounds great! We'll go camping! I would love to see such natural wildlife!

Thank you Ron! I think it's about a nine hour drive from Vancouver to PG (more like twelve if you're me and stop to take a few hundred pictures along the way). Then from PG it's another three hours. Thanks again!
