Perfect composition Matthew. The forground rocks add depth to the image for an outstanding presentation. #957242Matthew M. Sciortino July 16, 2008
Thanks Irene. It's nice to get something other than the usual "nice shot" and "good job" once in a while. I appreciate it, feel free to critique any of my photographs too. It only makes us better, right? #6187392Joan E. Hoffman July 24, 2008
I have enjoyed your entire series that you posted here Matthew. This one is my favourite, however. I love the diagonal composition, with the rock in the foreground, and the gorgeous old building in the opposite corner. The milky river intersects the scene on an opposite diagonal. Great eye in setting up this shot, and very nicely taken! #6225011Matthew M. Sciortino July 24, 2008
Deborah & Joan, thanks so much for you comments. I really enjoy these types of pictures - old buildings as part of a landscape. One of these days I'd like to have a series of old barns... odd, as an architect I like the old buildings better! #6225239Aggie Villanueva July 27, 2008
Beautiful. I love the DD work and as always, your POV makes the photo so interesting and keeps me inside the image. #6238263Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
