Description

I took this at a workshop last August. Note how the cowgirl lost her hat which is why they are smiling as they rode towards us.

I'm not sure but the focus seems to be in the horses in the back. It is hard to tell because of the size of the file but zoom in and it looks like the cowboy in red shirt is sharp.

What lens was in your Canon at that moment?

I think a short depth of field was needed this time. Don’t know…it was an action shot and f/2.8 or f/4 might be critical for this kind of scene. Maybe you made the right choice but the focus point was behind.

It was shot in sports mode with the Canon 70-200 4L at 200mm ISO 400, f6.3 at 1/1600 shutter.

The AF point was on the cowgirls left knee which was the center focus point on the DRebel.

It looks good on my Apple 17 inch LCD panel.

Yes...that's what I thought. The size of this file doesn’t allow to see those fine details.

Thanks

Sorry...I meant: "doesn’t allow seeing those fine details"

Thanks again. #982254
