I almost forgot about this picture.Rhina taught me not long ago that a fence has two sides. That reminded me of this frame I took two years ago.
When I show this picture, people thinks that it is a prison, but actually it is the front porch of a house. I was walking that night and saw the chair and used the fence to give that confinement sensation.
It certainly feels like a prison but it is a fence of about 3-4 feet tall.
I know it seems like something is missing there. A person in his/her favorite chair, handcuffs will definitely change the whole story but is also a possibility.
The title in Spanish “Esperando” leads us to a chronicle about that “favorite spot” we all have at our home, where we like to spend the afternoons or the nights looking for some fresh air, and perhaps the company of a friend…or a stranger who just happens to walk by with a camera in his shoulder.
Gracias Miguel por tu compañia.
