A Bengal Tiger

Uploaded: December 14, 2004

Description

I captured this Tiger (no pun intended) last June at the Disneyworld Animal Kingdom. I used my 70-200 4L lens with 1.4 TC. I had to shoot this with my lens between the bamboo fence post to get an unobstructed shot. Settings f5.6, 1/250 shutter, ISO 400 at 235mm. Shot was handheld.

I was going to get a model release but the Tiger did not look like he was in the mood to sign it. :)

I took about 50 shots of this tiger. This is one of the few that was a keeper. Comments are appreciated. #196584

David - I really like this. The colors are great. Very sharp. I think it is well-composed. Don't blame you for not asking him for a release! #971876

Yes, the little kitty doesn't look very happy :)
I guess this one of the best photos you could have taken having to stay in one spot I imagine ... I like the "expression" on the tiger's face; play with it and crop it tight to his face perhaps to bring out more his friendly smile (as a copy though because you want to keep this one)

Hi David,
Brilliant shot. I think that it's great just as it is but I will check the crop when you post it.

That came out great. I got to go to the zoo in the spring and take some wildlife shots. Who needs an expensive African trip when you can go to the zoo?
Nicely done. #1015633

Nice shot, good composure and exposure.... I think you might have pissed him off tho.
